What we cannot do
We are not an RTO, government help desk, authorised agent or payment service. We cannot:
- check the private status of a driving licence, RC, challan, permit or application;
- approve, expedite, cancel or modify a government record;
- recover application numbers, passwords or OTPs;
- accept a transport fee, resolve a government payment or issue a refund;
- book an appointment, arrange a test slot or contact an RTO on your behalf; or
- give case-specific legal advice.
For those matters, use the official portal or contact the competent RTO, state transport department, police unit or payment provider shown on the official receipt.
Do not send sensitive information
How to report a correction
Send the exact Parivaahan.org page URL, copy the sentence or link concerned, explain what may be wrong, and include a current public official source where possible. Please redact any personal information. See our Corrections & Updates Policy for how we review reports.
Privacy requests
Identify the privacy issue and the relevant interaction with this website. We may need reasonable information to understand or verify a request, but we will not ask for an OTP, financial credential or unnecessary identity document. Our Privacy Policy explains the information the website may process and the choices available to visitors.
Response expectations
Urgent safety, phishing, impersonation and privacy concerns are prioritised. Other messages are reviewed as resources permit. Sending a message does not guarantee a reply, publication, link placement, legal acceptance or a particular editorial outcome. Repeated unsolicited marketing and link-exchange requests may not receive a response.
