1. Nature of the website
Parivaahan.org explains publicly available transport processes, including driving-licence services, vehicle registration, RC transactions, e-Challan checks, road signs and online-safety practices. Our name is used to identify this independent information website; it does not indicate affiliation with the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, NIC, an RTO, state transport department or any other government body.
2. No government service or agency relationship
- We do not issue, renew, approve or cancel licences, permits, challans, registrations or certificates.
- We cannot check private VAHAN, SARATHI or e-Challan records on a visitor’s behalf.
- We do not collect government application fees or guarantee appointments, approvals, dispatch or outcomes.
- No content creates an agent-client, legal-adviser, professional-adviser or government-citizen relationship.
3. Acceptable use
You may access and share links to the website for lawful personal, educational and informational purposes. You must not:
- use the website to impersonate Parivaahan.org, a government body or another person;
- misrepresent our content as an official notice, licence, certificate or government instruction;
- attempt unauthorised access, disrupt service, introduce malware or bypass security;
- scrape or reproduce substantial content in a way that harms the website or creates a misleading competing copy;
- submit unlawful, abusive, deceptive, infringing or privacy-invasive material; or
- use our name, design or content in phishing, fee-collection, APK-distribution or credential-harvesting activity.
4. Accuracy and changing procedures
We aim to publish clear, useful and well-sourced information. Transport portals, state procedures, fees, forms, eligibility rules and interface labels can change without notice. Content may therefore become incomplete or outdated. Before acting, confirm the current requirement on the official government portal and follow instructions issued by the relevant authority.
5. Third-party and official links
The website contains links to government services and other third-party resources. A link is provided for convenience and reference; it is not an endorsement or guarantee. We do not control an external website’s availability, security, content, data practices or transactions. Check the full destination address before entering personal or payment information.
6. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the original text, site design, branding, illustrations and arrangement of Parivaahan.org are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Government names, marks and third-party materials belong to their respective owners. Limited quotation or linking with clear attribution is welcome. Republishing substantial original content, removing attribution or using our branding to cause confusion requires prior permission.

If you send feedback or a correction, you confirm that you are entitled to provide it and that it does not unlawfully disclose another person’s information. You grant us permission to use the submission to investigate, correct and improve the website. Do not send confidential documents, OTPs, passwords or sensitive identity and financial information.
8. Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend or discontinue any page or feature, change these terms, restrict abusive access, or perform maintenance without guaranteeing advance notice. We may correct errors and change URLs while using reasonable efforts to preserve important links.
9. Disclaimers and limitation
The website is provided on an “as available” basis for general information. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties concerning completeness, uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We are not responsible for decisions, losses, delays, rejected applications, penalties, data exposure or third-party conduct arising from reliance on the website or an external link. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Indemnity
