If you lost the application number
Look for the acknowledgement PDF, receipt, email or SMS received at submission. Sarathi may also provide a Find Application Number option under its state-specific menus. If the number still cannot be recovered, contact the issuing RTO with identity and application details.
Application status vs licence details
Application Status tracks a new application, renewal or service request using the application number. Know Your Licence Details checks an already issued licence using the DL number and date of birth. Choose the service that matches your task.

Can I check status using only my name?
The standard online route generally requires an application number and date of birth. Use the official recovery option or contact the RTO if the application number is unavailable.
How long does an approved licence take to arrive?
Dispatch and delivery depend on the issuing state and RTO. Use the latest status shown by Sarathi and the state transport department rather than relying on a single national estimate.
Why is my test result not updated?
RTO updates are not always immediate. Wait for the local authority’s processing window and contact the test centre or RTO if the delay becomes unusual.
Is mParivahan the same as Sarathi?
They are related government services with different functions. Sarathi is the principal web system for licence applications; mParivahan provides mobile access to several transport services and digital documents.
